On Saturday March 26th, I had a fantastic chapbook release party for Pain Needs to Remember at West Side School for the Desperate in Logan Square, Chicago. The release party featured readings from some of my favorite writers and people in this city: Roger Bonair-Agard, Marty McConnell, Laura Yes Yes, JW Basilo, John Paul Davis, Emily Rose, and Benjamin Clark. Basically, all the poets who curate Real Talk Live+ Ben and Marty. West Side School for the Desperate made a short documentary of the night. You should check it out. It's pretty sweet.

Also, on February 20th, I read at Woman Made Gallery in their curated reading: "The American Dream - A Juxtaposition." An audio recording of the reading is now available online at WBEZ.
