Debra Kayes (layout editor), Kaylee Pope (copy editor), and I have been combing through this issue for the past 2 months or so. It took a little longer to get rolling than I hoped due to some formatting issues going from Word to Google Docs to InDesign -- we had to correct every single damn em-dash, every italicized word, all the spacing. Lots of fun.

We are finally done, and the poetry in it is absolutely beautiful. It is $17. I wish it was less money, but the cost of printing a 72 page color magazine is high, unless you are buying over 1000 copies at a time or something.

Check out my poem "What's Certain," which is now up at The Orange Room Review

Oddly, this was one of the last pieces I cut from my Write Bloody Manuscript. I'm glad it's got a good home, but you can only use "spackling" and "precision" so many times in a manuscript. You can use "whiskey" 100 times though. At least that's I decided.
